I am working hard towards my plan this week as I will be for 22 1/2 more weeks. Here is a look at my exercise schedule.
My exercise routine for now looks like this:
*Wake at 5AM - this has been going well. I set the alarm at 5 on the dot and I put it across the room and I get up and turn it off and head to the bathroom where my clothes are ready to put on.
*Treadmill for 45 minutes from 5:15 - 6:00AM - I recently moved the TM to the play room so it is a nice warm room and I LOVE it. No more cold garage for the TM. I can turn on the light so that helps me wake up and I don't have to worry about being too cold and uncomfortable.
*At some point in the evening either right after dinner while girls play in their play room or after they go to bed I do a strength workout 5 days a week broken up into bi's/tri's, chest, shoulders, back and legs. I actually do legs and back at the gym either at lunch or 2 of the mornings or right after work. Just whenever I can get it in.
*Then now that I have the exercise bike I do 15 more minutes of cardio after my strength workout in the evening. I moved the bike to the living room so I can chat and watch TV with J. That makes the 15 minutes go by much faster.
So for now I exercise 5 days a week, about 1 1/2 hours a day total. It actually isn't too bad since I break it up. It doesn't seem like 1 1/2 hours of exercise. I feel so good at night when I go to bed knowing what I accomplished that day.
At some point I do believe I will go to 6 days and then 7 days of cardio but I am not certain. I just do what my trainer tells me to do. I will just cross that bridge when I get to it though...remember it is just DAY TO DAY!
