140..HERE I COME!

I still cannot get over the positive feedback I have gotten from "blog land". You all are wonderful. Thank you again.

I am ready to do this. First goal is 140 by December 1st. That is 11 weeks from now and I have 9 pounds to go. At 149 now. WOOT!

Some people might think this is crazy timing to do this through Halloween and Thanksgiving and such but to me I think it is the best time only b/c I have done it before and therefore I know I can do it again. 2 years ago I was in a challenge with Phit-N-Phat and I lost 9 pounds in this almost exact time frame through Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was VERY EMPOWERING to know that the food didn't rule me and I had total control through all of the 3 major holiday events. Since I did it before I KNOW I can do it again and I WILL!

I made it to the gym this morning for legs. They are modified and not as hard as I wish they were b/c of my knee injury BUT I was still able to do them and my legs were shaking a tad when I was done so I worked them as hard as I could without doing the typical squat, lunges and leg press that most leg exercises incorporate.

Tomorrow is shoulder workout at home actualy b/c I can do all of the exercises at home. Just me and my garage and my ipod.

Food today:
B - protein shake, 2 eggs, 3 egg whites and slice of 2% cheese
S - 1 oz. of almonds
L - protein shake (kind of tired of meat but I need the protein), spinach w/ balsm ving dressing, 1 cup of green beans
S - 1/2 oz. of almonds and a protein shake
D - not sure yet but it will be protein and veggies, probably chicken and asparagus

It was such a big moment when I too realized food is not my boss. I select the food that suits me and I am in charge, not the other way around.

The food is actually getting easier, on most days. You will make it look like a walk in the park.
