MARATHON!!!!!!!! YES, I AM CRAZY!!

You read it right, I just registered for my very first (and will determine after if it is my only) FULL MARATHON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been contemplating the thought of running a full marathon ever since last April after I ran 2 half marathons. I just got to thinking that I really wanted to do it at least once in my life just so I can say I did it and prove it to myself that I can do it. The thought of a marathon has never crossed my mind until I started running about 3 years ago. I was just up to a 5K and I thought "I wonder what it would be like to run a marathon". Then I had a baby and was not running for about 1 year then I got back to it and have gradually been increasing my distance and I finally realized that if I want to do it then I can do it. Sooooooooo...I AM DOING IT!!

I have always thought people that run marathons are just crazy, I mean why in the world would you want to do something like that. I am still not sure I can answer it with anything besides saying "BECAUSE I CAN".

I was originally going to do it in about 2-3 more years then my friend Jess and Corinne said they would do it too so here we are preparing for the Little Rock, AR FULL MARATHON on March 15, 2009.

I CAN'T WAIT TO CROSS THAT FINISH LINE!!!
