Momentum is still going strong!

I am doing GREAT!! My exercise is continuing with a 5:30 AM gym workout this morning. It is such an awesome way to get my week started off right. I am just proud that I have done it 3 Mondays in a row.

My food this weekend was really good. I had major control. Saturday night we went out to dinner at a mexican place and I counted my chips as I ate them. I ate 12. Have you ever done that? I have before but rarely. I just usually dive in and eat until I am sick. I am certain that if you count your chips you won't eat as many. I was obviously trying not to eat many and I would have have gone over 15 but instead I just stopped at 12.

Sunday I was at my parents and they had no-bake cookies. I love those things. I ate 1 1/2 but that was it. I was pleased with my control. I mean I wanted 10 but I settled for 1 1/2. HA.

We were productive around the house and we finished painting our bedroom it is now "baby boy blue". It looks SO GOOD!! We absolutely love it. I will post pics of it too.

Plus, last Thursday I made these peanut butter bar things that are to die for and I took pics as I was making them so I am going to post that this week. I got the recipe from the Oxygen magazine.

Yeah for you 3rd Monday!!!! Way to go Dawn.

Sounds like you have a great weekend. Props to you for stopping at chip 12. Those baskets are way to tempting for me. Why do they have to taste so darn good?? :)

I can't wait to see your pics. I love freshly painted walls, but I think I would love peanut butter bars even more! I used to never want peanut butter, and for some reason that's all I've wanted for the past 16 weeks! I'm looking forward to your post!

You were so good at the restaraunt. I have a hard time saying no to anything mexican, SO, I stay home and create my own lower calorie and fat version. Thanks for all the encouragement. It really does help.

ooh I cant wait for the recipe and maybe some pics of your pretty blue room!

I agree getting up and working out first thing really sets my day off RIGHT! good job!

PS I am searching around my area for a 5K this summer. I think having a goal to work towards would be perfect for me.
