My new workout plan
I haven't had much extra computer time at work or at home. Sorry for the sporadic posts.
I plan to post more marathon pictures hopefully this coming week.
I lost 1.4 pounds this week so I am thrilled with that. I was down 1.6 the week before so I was at 157.2 2 weeks ago and now I am at 154.2. WOOT! It is amazing the difference I can tell in body with just 3 pounds gone.
I had planned to start my workout program this week which means I would go to the gym Monday and Friday mornings from 5:30-6:30 then come home and get ready. I take the girls to their school on these days so I don't leave the house until 8:15 so I have a little extra time than I do the other days when I need to leave at 7:15. Then on Wednesday I was going to work out during my lunch break. Then either Tuesday or Thursday I will work out in the morning on my TM in the garage with a 20-30 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT).
I have enjoyed my 2 weeks off and I really just need to jump back into it like I had planned. I do enjoy exercising once I get started but boy it is hard to get my mind back in the game. I was SO FOCUSED for 6 months with consistent running and now that I don't have that going it is just hard to get my focus back. I have gotten with the food pretty much. I little tweaking needed but not much there. But getting going with the workouts, shew, that is another story. I just need to do it. I know I will love the results and the inches lost and the body fat reduction so it will be worth it.
I could work out at home b/c with my plan I can totally modify it. I just figured I would work out harder if I am at the gym and it is bright and music is going and I am not in my dark living room wondering if I am too loud and will wake my girls. Yes, going to the gym is a much better plan, getting there is another thing.
So if I get up at 4:55, I need to get out of the door at 5:15 and get to the gym when it opens at 5:30. I can work out from like 5:35 (after I take off my coat and put up my keys and such) then I can leave at 6:30. That could be a GREAT 55 minute intense workout for me. I know I would feel GREAT!
This is what I have to do if I am going to do it. Might as well just do it. I have to dig deep into my determination and see how bad I want it and see if I can push myself to get up at 4:55 just 2 days a week. The other day I can get up at like 5:30 and have enough time and the other 2 days I can get up at 6:15.
I will report in and let you know what I did.
