I am being LAZY!!!!

Quick checkin...I am being lazy and that is all there is to it. I did not get up on Monday morning. I had everything ready to go and laid out and of course it took me forever to fall asleep b/c so many things run through my mind. Then, out of the blue both of my girls got out of bed Sunday night which was odd. I had to get up with both of them about 30 minutes apart so I knew I would not be getting up at 4:55 am. Then I had planned to get up this morning and the alarm goes off at 5:20 and I wake up and I lay there and I think about how I need to get out of bed BUT I never do. UGH!!

It is going to take me giving myself a swift kick in the bootie to get this going again. I can obviously get up and exercse, I have done it pretty consistently for about 10 months actually. I have taken these 2 weeks off and now I have to get back in my routine and it is a little more difficult than I thought it would be. I will get back to it though. I know what I have to do I just have to do it.

Also, I love checking other people's blogs. I appreciate all of the comments on my blog too and I love to comment on others and see how they are doing but my extra coputer time at work and home has been cut short b/c of a big project I have going on right now and my evenings have just been busy. I promise to check in on all of you as time allows. Keep eating clean and working out with intensity!!! (maybe I need to practice what I preach, huh?) At least my food is good I suppose.

When I think of you "laz" is not a word that comes to mind. LOL You just took a little vacation. :)
It is hard to get back on a routine once off though. You are so right. But I'm sure you'll be right back at it in no time.

You LAZY, doubt it. You just needed some rest time. Maybe you needed 3 weeks. You did just run 26plus miles. You'll find it, you always do. And thanks for all the encouragement, it really does help.

I know that a few running books that I have read states that you need a day for every mile to recover from a race.... meaning that TECHNICALLY... you need a few more days :P Of course, this refers to doing long runs or tempo runs or whatever, but still! A little extra rest won't hurt and I know you will be back onto the activity bandwagon in no time! And as you said, at least your food is good so you have a huge part of the equation taken care of!
Hi Dawn, the marathon pictures look fabulous. And don't be so hard on yourself. You've done amazing things. Hope you were able to get back to your workout today.

Wow! This is my first time on your blog and I am so inspired. I can't even fathom "lazy" as a proper descriptor. I mean look at your "before" and your marathon photos. I keep zipping back and forth and I'm just so jazzed up. Enough to go out and do some powerwalking with gusto. I have 97days before I get married....but maybe a larger fitness-related goal is also important versus looking good in a dress. Thanks for posting all of this!
