The scale lies!
I know I have told you before but I will tell you again that the SCALE LIES and that it is ONLY ONE measure of your success. I have been trying to maintain at 153 and I have been doing pretty well at it until the last couple of weeks and my food has been off and I have had too many treats and so it has said 156 and 155 so I have re-focused and am back at the closer food monitoring and doing well so I decided to weigh this morning thinking it might be around 154 or so. Well, no chance of that and it said 156.8. But I actually felt like I looked smaller so I pulled out the trusty measuring tape and what do you know. I have lost 2 inches. This is adding up between my chest, natural waist and abodmen (across my belly button). So as we all know you would rather LOOK SMALLER THAN LOOK LIGHTER and that is what I am doing so I am snubbing that ol' scale and chalking it up to water retention.
SCALE, YOU DO NOT RULE ME!!!!!

Same thing happens to me. Measuring tape is nice, just not the scale.
I'm trying to get back on track and you are, as always, an inspiration.
Thanks for all your help! See you the Hogeye!
Scales are just evil!
