Good Morning Velvet!

Hi Velvet (my sister), she reads my blog daily and she told me last night on the phone that she is disappointed when I don't post b/c she doesn't know what is going on with me or she needs some inspiration to eat good and exercise so I thought I would just start off by telling her "HELLO and I LOVE YOU".

Exercise - lets talk about it for a minute. This week is such a busy one for me, I mean WAY more busy than usual. Like I have said before the only time I can exercise is in the mornings and when I am busy busy in the evenings and then I don't get to bed until 10:30 or after I am simply not able to get up at 5:00 to exercise. I require at least 6-7 hours of good sleep to function and falling asleep around 11 and getting up at 5 anything just doesn't cut it for me. Yes, it might seem like I am making excuses but I am not, the facts are the facts and when you are busier than usual than you just have to make adjustments. So, I have decided to take this week off of exercising and I am not going to feel guilty about it. I am continuing to eat good though and logging my food so I am not falling off the wagon by any means, I am just realizing that exercise is not fitting into my schedule this week and it is o.k. I am already working really hard cleaning my house to get ready for bunco (I mean it needs to be cleaned anyway, this is just a good excuse to get it really clean) and preparing for a yard sale and then my outing with friends on Saturday afternoon. It is not like I am sitting at home on the couch or something. Anyway, my point is that you have to do what is best for you in your life on any given day and if you are honestly able to exercise everyday or 5-6 days a week or even 1 or 2 then you need to get out there and do it. If you are honestly too busy one week then just accept it and move on and don't feel bad about it. I will get back to it next week for sure I am already planning my workout schedule for then.

Bye Velvet, have a good day!
