I'm suckin it up...

and I am going to run on a treadmill tonight in the gym. UGH!!! 2 reasons I am doing this - 1) my family worries about me running alone 2) it is pretty cold outside. To be honest I don't mind the cold too much b/c I really bundle up. I guess if it didn't get dark so early my family wouldn't worry about me as much but they still probably would. I mean people get kidnapped in the broad day light these day. I need to find someone that can run with me on my schedule. That doesn't seem to much to ask now does it. I need to find someone that will run at my pace and run when I can run but also not mind if we don't talk b/c I am enjoying listening to my ipod, now that I actually have one. Hmmm, I will be on the look out for someone that will meet all of my crazy criteria. For today at least I will run on the treadmill, hopefully it won't be as miserable as I am thinking it is going to be. I am going to try to have a good attitude about it. I am going to do 4 miles. I figure it will take me about 50 minutes or so. I know I will be glad when I am done and proud that I did it so I am just going to focus on that. Maybe there will be a cute guy at the gym that I can look at to make the time go by faster. HAHA, nope that won't happen b/c my hubby will already be gone from the gym going to pick up the girls. OH WELL!

Hey! Do you run intervals? That always makes the treadmill time go so much faster for me.

Hey! Keep up the good work! I just started a low-carb diet. I have a friend who lost 20 lbs with that so I figure I would try something different. First two weeks are meat, eggs and cheese..then I am able to add green veggies. Later to maintain my weight I add wheat bread and pasta. I knew I had to do something when my 4 year old daughter ask me when my belly is big smiling ear to ear...thinking I had a baby in there. Kids you gotta love them. I seem to gain weight in my mid-section and when I lose weight it drops off every where but there. Keep up the great work!

Hey! I am in the same boat. I gain all my weight I lost after having my daughter back going back to school last year. Now I am trying out a low-carb diet that worked for my friend. She lost 20lbs with it. It is pretty much following the Adkins diet. First2 weeks only eat meat, eggs, and cheese..then add green veggies after the first 2 weeks. To maintain weight you eat wheat bread and pasta. I am going to try it. I knew I had to do something when my 4 year old daughter ask me why my belly is big thinking I was pregnant! Kids you gotta love 'em! I gain my weight in my mid-section and when I lose weight I lose it every where else but there.
